The Wilmington Coffee Fest is an annual event in Wilmington, North Carolina, that celebrates the local coffee scene. Originally started as a “coffee crawl” in 2018, it has since grown into a larger festival held in The Cargo District
The main event is a street fair where attendees can meet local coffee roasters, sample a variety of coffees and teas, and enjoy offerings from bakers and artisans.
Wilmington Coffee Fest is an opportunity to meet the best coffee roasters, unique coffee shops, tea suppliers, and all things coffee related in the industry while supporting local non-profits and helping us make this event a minimal waste festival. There will be samples from each vendor and attendees vote for their favorite coffee.
Friday, September 26th at 4:30 pm kicks off the festival with our 1st annual Cocktail Showdown at Azalea Station. Local bartenders, mixologists and baristas compete for your vote for the best coffee cocktail. Ages 21+
Friday, September 26th at 7:00 pm keeps the fun going with the Latte Art Throwdown at Azalea Station. Cheer on your local baristas as they compete for the title of the best latte art champion. This event is free and open to the public.
Saturday, September 27th at 9:00 am – 3:00 pm join us for Wilmington Coffee Fest street fair on South 15th Street, between Castle Street and Queen Street. Meet the people behind your favorite brew, discover new coffee shops and roasters too. Enjoy coffee samples, check out artisans, bakeries, tea and don’t forget to vote for best hot brewed coffee and iced or cold coffee.
