Another unique coffee place, which we were offered to add to our list of the best coffee shops in Bangkok, our subscribers from Instagram.
This is not a specialty coffee shop, but part of the menu consists of coffee drinks, plus they have unique and cool interior design, so we are happy to place Botanica Cafe on our list.
The cafe is located near the Samrong BTS. Literally in several steps from exit number 6.
Thanks to the love of botany and antiques, the owner managed to create an unusual cafe with a unique design and a pleasant atmosphere.
Here is what the owner of the place told us.
The name ‘botanica’ dedicates to my love for greenery and botany. ‘botanica’ all started with an idea of making a home cafe showcasing my love of collecting used tablewares and office supplies. I wanted to make the use of vintage furniture to create a calm and relaxing atmosphere, so guests would never feel discomfort. I wanted to build a cafe where guests can move things around and walk around cause I find that it’s inspiring me to see things at other dimensions and perspectives.
The Shop Owner
In the menu, in addition to coffee, there are many other drinks and homemade desserts.
Coffee is made on a Sab Jolly Manual coffee machine using local Arabica beans of medium roast.
