We are pleased to add the first specialty coffee shop Sasatorn Coffee to our list of the best coffee shops on Koh Samui.
We asked a few questions to the owner and this is what he told us.
Sasatorn Coffee is a partnership of Fisherman’s house café and hotel since 2015. Its collaboration work of coffee farmer from northern Thailand (Direct trade) to support all the young coffee farmers who aim to develop the Thai coffee bean to the specialty coffee standard. Also with our coffee roaster, café business owners and until barista focusing all the quality of a cup to present the Thai coffee flavor. We are claimed to be one and only Specialty coffee on Koh Samui island.

Do you have Wi-Fi & Air Conditioning? – Our cafe is open-air. Yes, we have wi-fi.
Do you accept credit/debit cards? – We do accept credit and debit cards.
How big is your place? Is there a place to work on a computer? – The café is a quite big divine in a different area, between 60-70 seats, cozy and artistic style. Having the family and kid areas, at the back we have a little garden.
We provide the power points for some working space. It’s one of the cafés that customers like to come and spending time for working and some short meeting
Do you have parking? – We don’t provide the parking space, but motorbike can park in front of our shop, with the car can park to the parking spot nearby.
What is the brand/model of your coffee machine? We are using La Marzocco Stadra MP3.
Do you roast coffee yourself or buy from other roasters? – We have our roaster and use our own green coffee beans. We have very much passion for specialty coffee and have a high experience of roasting coffee.
Are there any alternative coffee options on the menu? Such as Aeropress, pour-over. Etc. – We are a full bar, serving espresso and manual brew ( pour-over, AeroPress, French press, Chemex, Cold drip, cold brew, and nitro. )
Do you sell coffee beans? Yes, we sell coffee beans.
Do you sell food/desserts? – Our food is an Australia – Melbourne style, Modern Asian, Pastry, artisanal bakery, option for vegan and clean food as well.
What would you recommend to try in your place? – Try the coffee. We create our house blend which is a combination of 3 Thai single-origin beans from Nan, Chiang Mai, and Chiang Rai provinces. You should try Espresso, Piccolo Latte, and Latte. For the food is breakfast, Smashy Lighthouse ( Smash Avocado, pan-fried tomatoes, sunflower seed, feta cheese recommend add on with poached egg ) is the best seller here. And Homemade Australia Carrot Cake is the bestseller aswell.
